I’VE SAT IN YOUR CHAIR
I’ve built businesses, bought them, grown them and sold them. I know what it feels like when the business you built becomes the question: what comes next? That’s where your next chapter begins.

mY STORY WILL HELP sHAPE YOUR NEXT CHAPTER
THE FOUNDATION | THE BUILDER | THE SELLER
“Hi, I’m Julie. I’ve actually lived the experience you are currently in. Let’s use what I’ve learned to build your next chapter.”
Before I was a business broker, I was a business owner. I signed the SBA loan paperwork, hired the first employee, and stayed up figuring out payroll. I’m not advising from the outside looking in. I’ve built businesses from the ground up, run them, and exited them. When you work with me, you’re working with someone who has actually lived the transaction you’re about to go through.
That’s also why I started Her Next Chapter — a space built specifically for women business owners who are standing where I’ve stood: at the point where the business you built is thriving, and you’re starting to ask what comes next for you.
MY PATH HERE WAS NOT LINEAR. AND THAT’S EXACTLY WHY IT WORKS.

THE CHAPTERS
CHAPTER 1: THE FOUNDATION
20+ Years in Real Estate. My path here wasn’t linear, and that’s exactly why it works. I spent over two decades in real estate, starting in 2001 and earning Rookie of the Year in my first year in the business. I eventually stepped into leadership, running a branch office where I recruited, hired, coached, and managed a team of roughly 40 agents. I implemented the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) to bring structure and accountability to how the office ran. I later worked in compliance auditing, reviewing contracts and transactions against real estate law and brokerage standards — a skill set that taught me to catch the details that make or break a deal.
CHAPTER 2: THE BUILDER
At the same time, I was building something else entirely: a fitness business empire, one location at a time. In 2007, I opened two Anytime Fitness franchise locations from scratch — securing SBA financing, managing the build-out and design, navigating franchise training, hiring staff, and building the systems to run them. Two years later, I exited both. That cycle (build, operate, exit,) is the exact process I now guide my clients through.
CHAPTER 3: THE BUYER
Years Later, I did it again from the other side of the table. I acquired an existing yoga studio, rebranded it, and relaunched it as a thriving boutique fitness business. So I don’t just understand selling a business. I understand buying one, too, including the due diligence, the financing, and the leap of faith it takes to bet on something you didn’t build.

Why this Matters for You…
Most business brokers can walk you through the mechanics of a sale. Fewer have actually done the deal themselves on both sides.
That combination is exactly what I bring to the table now as a business broker with Transworld Business Advisors of Dallas Fort Worth. I understand the financials, because I’ve built the P&Ls. I understand the emotional weight of the decision, because I’ve made it myself. And I understand what it means to be a woman running a business in industries that don’t always make space for you — because I’ve done that too.
If you’re an established business owner — a woman who has built something real, grown it past $1M in revenue, and is now thinking about what comes next — I’m not here to just list your business and hope for the best. I’m here to help you see this next chapter clearly, protect what you’ve built, and walk away from the table knowing you got the outcome you earned.

HER NEXT CHAPTER
Selling isn’t the only hard part. The harder question is often the one that comes after: who am I when this business isn’t the thing that defines my days?
I built Her Next Chapter for exactly that reason — a community for women business owners who are navigating the exit, the transition, or even just the “should I sell” stage, and want to do it alongside other women who’ve been there. It’s part practical guidance, part honest conversation, and it exists because I didn’t have that kind of room when I needed it. You shouldn’t have to figure this out alone, either.
Selling a business isn’t just a financial transaction. It’s a life transition, and it deserves a broker who understands both sides of that equation. Join the Waitlist below.
